Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 — 70 Pads

Meet one of Medicube’s most recognizable pore-care products: Zero Pore Pad 2.0, pre-soaked exfoliating toner pads designed to help care for visible pores, excess sebum, uneven texture and buildup on the skin’s surface.

But first, an important question: What exactly is a toner pad?

Think of it as a toner and cotton pad already prepared for you.

Instead of pouring liquid toner onto a separate cotton pad, each Zero Pore Pad comes pre-soaked with the formula, ready to sweep across the skin after cleansing.

Simple. Convenient. And no accidental toner waterfall across your bathroom counter.

WHAT DOES ZERO PORE PAD 2.0 ACTUALLY DO?

The formula combines AHA + BHA exfoliating ingredients to help remove dead skin cell buildup and care for excess sebum and impurities that can make skin texture and pores appear more noticeable.

With consistent, appropriate use, the goal is skin that looks:

✓ Smoother

✓ More refined

✓ Less congested

✓ More balanced

✓ Clearer and fresher-looking

WAIT — CAN A PRODUCT REALLY “CLOSE” MY PORES?

No. And this is important. Pores are normal structures in your skin. They do not open and close like tiny doors.

You cannot permanently erase them — and you do not need to.

What skincare can do is help reduce the factors that make pores look more noticeable, such as excess sebum, dead skin cell buildup and uneven surface texture.

So when we talk about pore care, we mean improving the appearance of pores and the condition of the surrounding skin — not deleting your pores from existence.

Your pores are staying. We are simply helping them stop demanding so much attention.

AHA + BHA — WHY BOTH?

They are both exfoliating ingredients, but they are not exactly the same thing.

AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid): Primarily works on the skin’s surface, helping loosen and remove accumulated dead skin cells that can contribute to roughness and dull-looking texture.

BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid): Is commonly used in pore-focused skincare because it can help with oil, congestion and buildup associated with clogged-looking pores.

Together, they make the product more than a basic hydrating toner pad.

This is an exfoliating treatment step.

KEY INGREDIENT — FRUIT COMPLEX (AHA)

Medicube highlights a Fruit Complex as its AHA component.

Its role is to support surface exfoliation, helping remove accumulated dead skin cells and promote a smoother-looking skin surface.

KEY INGREDIENT — WHITE WILLOW BARK

Medicube highlights 0.45% White Willow Bark, describing it as a natural BHA source.

White willow bark is used in the formula as part of its pore- and sebum-focused care.

Important distinction:

0.45% White Willow Bark does NOT mean 0.45% salicylic acid. They are not interchangeable numbers, and we are not going to turn one ingredient percentage into another because skincare mathematics decided to become creative.

KEY INGREDIENT — CYPRESS TREE LEAF

Medicube also highlights Cypress Tree Leaf as part of the formula, complementing its care for skin concerned with excess sebum and visible pores.

IS THIS JUST FOR PEOPLE WITH OILY SKIN?

No. Pore visibility and uneven texture are not exclusive to oily skin.

Medicube lists the product for combination, oily and dry skin, although how frequently you use an exfoliating product should always depend on your individual skin and tolerance.

WHAT ABOUT BLACKHEADS AND WHITEHEADS?

Medicube specifically positions Zero Pore Pad 2.0 for concerns including blackheads, whiteheads, excess sebum and pore congestion. That does not mean one swipe magically removes every blackhead.

Instead, regular exfoliating care can help manage the buildup and excess oil associated with congestion. Skincare is annoyingly more “consistency” than “one dramatic Saturday night transformation.”

DOES IT REPLACE CLEANSING?

No. Zero Pore Pad 2.0 is used after cleansing. Your cleanser removes makeup, sunscreen, oil and everyday impurities. The toner pad then becomes your exfoliating/pore-care step.

DOES IT NEED TO BE RINSED OFF?

No. This is a leave-on product. After using the pad, allow the remaining formula to absorb and continue with the rest of your skincare routine.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

Immediately, the skin may feel fresher and smoother after use. With consistent use, exfoliating care can help improve the appearance of rough texture, congestion, excess sebum and visible pores.

But Zero Pore Pad 2.0 is not:

✗ A permanent pore eraser

✗ A replacement for cleansing

✗ A treatment that physically “closes” pores

✗ An excuse to exfoliate your face seventeen times because more must mean better

Especially that last one.

Exfoliation is one of those situations where more is absolutely not automatically better.

WHERE DOES IT GO IN MY ROUTINE?

A simple routine looks like:

Cleanser → Zero Pore Pad 2.0 → Serum / Ampoule → Moisturizer

Morning:

Cleanser → Zero Pore Pad 2.0 → Serum / Ampoule → Moisturizer → Sunscreen

Because this is an exfoliating acid product, daily sun protection is especially important.

VELlORA TIP ✨

Don't judge your skin by whether you can see pores when you stand three centimetres away from a magnifying mirror.

Real skin has pores, texture and lines.

The goal of pore care is not to turn your face into a filtered JPEG.

The goal is healthier-looking, smoother and better-balanced skin.
