Wella Professionals Fusion Intense Repair Conditioner 1000ml

WHAT IS IT?

Wella Professionals Fusion Intense Repair Conditioner is a professional conditioner created for damaged, fragile and breakage-prone hair.

It is the conditioning step of the Fusion routine: after shampoo removes dirt, oil and product build-up, the conditioner helps detangle, smooth and condition the lengths, leaving damaged hair easier to manage and helping improve its resilience against breakage.

WHO IS IT FOR?

This conditioner is a great choice if your hair:

  • breaks easily when brushing or combing

  • feels weak, rough or damaged

  • tangles easily after washing

  • has been stressed by heat styling, colouring, bleaching or chemical treatments

  • feels difficult to manage after shampooing

  • needs extra softness and conditioning without skipping the repair-focused step of your routine

You do not need to have a specific hair texture to use Fusion. The important question is the condition of your hair: is it damaged, fragile or prone to breakage?

WHAT DOES IT ACTUALLY DO?

Think of shampoo and conditioner as having two different jobs.

The shampoo cleans your scalp and hair.

The conditioner comes after shampooing to condition the lengths, help reduce tangling and leave damaged hair feeling smoother and easier to comb.

This matters especially for fragile hair because pulling a brush through tangled, wet hair can place additional mechanical stress on already weakened strands.

WHY IS THE FUSION LINE DIFFERENT?

The Fusion range was developed by Wella Professionals specifically for damaged hair.

Its Silksteel Fusion Technology is inspired by spider silk, a fibre known for its strength. The technology combines silk amino acids with conditioning ingredients to help care for damaged hair at both micro and macro levels.

The goal is not to magically make past damage disappear. Instead, the Fusion routine is designed to care for weakened hair and help make it more resilient against breakage.

HOW DO I USE IT? - STEP BY STEP

STEP 1 — Wash your hair

Start with shampoo. For the complete Fusion routine, use Fusion Intense Repair Shampoo and rinse thoroughly.

STEP 2 — Remove excess water

Gently squeeze excess water from your hair with your hands. Your hair should be wet, but not dripping excessively.

Why? If the hair is completely saturated with water, the conditioner can become unnecessarily diluted and slide off the lengths more easily.

STEP 3 — Apply the conditioner

Take an appropriate amount of product and distribute it through the mid-lengths and ends, concentrating on the areas that feel most damaged or tangled.

You generally do not need to load the scalp with conditioner unless your hair/scalp needs it or the product directions specifically call for it.

STEP 4 — Distribute gently

Use your fingers or a wide-tooth comb to distribute the product through the lengths.

Be gentle — wet, damaged hair deserves patience, not a wrestling match with the comb.

STEP 5 — Let it condition

Allow the conditioner to sit briefly while you finish the rest of your shower routine.

STEP 6 — Rinse thoroughly

Rinse with water until the excess product has been removed and the hair feels conditioned without being coated in unnecessary residue.

CONDITIONER OR MASK - DO I NEED BOTH?

They are not exactly the same step.

Conditioner = regular conditioningHelps detangle, soften and improve manageability after shampooing.

Mask = more intensive careUse the Fusion Mask when your hair needs an additional treatment step.

You don't necessarily need to use the mask every single time you wash your hair. How often you use it depends on your hair's condition and the product directions.

HOW DO I BUILD THE COMPLETE FUSION ROUTINE?

1. CLEANSE

Fusion Intense Repair Shampoo

2. CONDITION

Fusion Intense Repair Conditioner

3. INTENSIVE CARE

Fusion Intense Repair Mask when needed

Simple version: Shampoo cleans. Conditioner conditions. Mask gives your routine an extra treatment step.

HOW OFTEN CAN I USE THE CONDITIONER?

It is designed as the conditioning step after shampooing, so it can be incorporated into your regular hair-washing routine according to your hair's needs.

If your hair becomes weighed down easily, adjust the amount rather than automatically covering the entire head with a large quantity.

HOW MUCH SHOULD I USE?

There is no perfect amount for everyone.

The amount depends on your hair length, density and level of damage. Start with a small amount, distribute it through the lengths and add more only where necessary.

More product does not automatically mean better results.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

After use, the goal is for damaged hair to feel:

Easier to detangle, smoother and more manageable, conditioned and cared for, less difficult to comb when wet, and supported against breakage as part of the Fusion repair routine

Remember: cosmetic results vary according to your hair's starting condition, previous chemical treatments, heat exposure and the rest of your routine.

SIZE: 1000ml / 1L — professional salon size

A large format ideal for frequent use or for anyone who already knows Fusion and doesn't want to keep replacing a small bottle.

VELLORA EXPLAINS 🤎

If you're wondering:

“But if I already use a mask, why do I need conditioner?”

Because they don't necessarily have the same job.

Think of the routine like this:

Shampoo → cleansConditioner → detangles & conditionsMask → provides the extra treatment step

You don't need a complicated 12-product routine. You need to understand what each product is doing and why you're using it.
